The center of the area consists of the City of Copenhagen, which incl. the enclave Frederiksberg Municipality has 662,464 inhabitants (2018) and is Denmark's most populous municipality. & nbsp; Greater Copenhagen is also the center of the Øresund region, which is the largest in the Nordic region metropolis region. The Øresund region covers 20,649 km² in Denmark and Scandinavia and comprises DKK 2.5 million. inhabitants (2010) in Denmark and 3.9 mill. inhabitants (2016), when the Swedish part of the Øresund region is also included.
If you have an afternoon to spare, take a trip to central Copenhagen / Kristianshavn and experience world-class architecture, beaches, idyllic & nbsp; and flourishing areas. Greater Copenhagen is no bigger than things are within easy reach in less than half an hour. Take time to experience more of Copenhagen.
